Celebrating 25 years, the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada in Carson City is throwing a birthday bash and the community is invited.
The party is June 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Festivities include food, games, face painting, a Bounce house and more.
The Museum is located at 813 North Carson Street in Carson City.
In conjunction with its 25th anniversary, the Museum is sponsoring a contest featuring the "Like" button on Facebook.
Each week on Fridays now through June 15, if the Museum adds an additional 50 "New Likes" to its Facebook page, organizers will put everyone who "likes" in the pot for a $10 gift card to Starbucks. Then on Monday, June 17, Museum officials will draw one name for a $50 gift card to the Olive Garden. All winners will be posted on the Facebook page.
