Boy Scout Troop 341 of Carson City will hold a Food Drive for Friends in Service Helping, otherwise known as FISH, on Saturday, June 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wal-Mart locations on Retail Drive and Topsy Lane.
Canned foods and non-perishable items are welcome. Items collected will help feed children and families during the summer.
FISH is dedicated to serving the homeless and hungry in Carson City. Since opening its doors in 1979, the nonprofit agency has provided the resources that our neighbors-in-need require, be that food, clothing, shelter, referral services and medical aid.
