The High Rock Trekkers 4X4 Club will host its 19th annual Lassen-Applegate Emigrant Trail Ride, Friday, July 19 through Monday, July 22, 2013.
This trip is open to all four-wheel drive enthusiasts including owners of stock sport utility vehicles (SUV). The 200-mile historical journey will begin near Imlay, NV and follow the same wagon train route used by Peter Lassen in 1849.
Participants will see and learn about key points of interest including Double Hot Springs, the Black Rock Desert, High Rock Canyon, site of Lassen’s murder, Soldier Meadows, and much more. The trip will conclude in Surprise Valley, CA near Cedarville in Modoc County.
Cost for the trip is $275 per adult, $150 children 7-14, and kids under 7 are welcome free of charge. All meals are included.
