In celebration of Historic Preservation Month, the Carson City Historic Resources Commission has launched its fourth annual Historic Preservation Scavenger Hunt beginning today through May 28.
The adult scavenger hunt will consist of 30 historic architectural features, all within in the historic district, and the kids scavenger hunt will consist of 20 historic features within a smaller area.
Completed entries must be submitted by 4 p.m. on May 28 to the Planning Division at 108 E Proctor Street. Entries with all correct answers will be entered into a drawing to be held on May 30.
Adults will be competing for a free lunch for two at Adele’s. For Carson City School District participants, the winning student will receive a gift certificate to Brugo’s pizza.
