After a much deserved break, nationally-acclaimed bluesman Shane Dwight is back on tour and will be at High Sierra Brewery Co., on Friday, March 8 beginning at 8 p.m.
Shane's newest album, A Hundred White Lies was featured in/on the cover of many magazines between fall 2011 and 2012, including Guitar World Magazine, USA Today, Blues Review Magazine, Blues Matters Magazine, and Music News Nashville etc. The album features the writings of Shane Dwight and his guitar/vocal skills accompanied by the sounds of Bekka Bramlett on backup vocals and Delbert McClinton's band, Dick 50. The album made its way to the top 10 of both Blues and Americana charts and was # 3 on BB Kings Bluesville’s ‘Pick to Click’ of the week.
Recently Shane flew to DC to join Bill Wax for a live interview on SiriusXM and spin some of his favorite blues artists and enjoyed being part of his 3rd Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise. Shane has shared the stage with B.B. King, Etta James, Otis Rush, Los Lonely Boys, Johnny Winter, The Marshall Tucker band, Tedeschi Trucks, Taj Mahal, to name a few.
