This is the second year the Carson City Chamber of Commerce has organized a Home & Garden Show to showcase the many businesses that can help homeowners improve their homes and gardens.
This Saturday, April 20th, Greenhouse Garden Center will again take center stage showcasing their expertise and creativeness in creating a unique garden setting that only the professionals at Greenhouse can create. Owner David Ruf and staff will be on hand to conduct informative seminars as well.
Costco again will create an outdoor display utilizing their patio furniture and accessories – bringing it all together.
Home Depot –Douglas County – will conduct seminars for do it yourselfers including women and children.
Also on hand will be various vendors that can make home improvement easier. Carson City RV will showcase their “home away from home” and Nevada Artist Association will have artists painting and displaying their artworks. The Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada will conduct art sessions for children to create their own works of art.
Local beauty queens will be on hand as Mayor Robert Crowell cuts the ribbon to officially open the show at 10 a.m.
Entrance to the show is free and there is plenty of free parking at the mall.
