Buy a pie and feed a family, Carson City. With just a few days before Thanksgiving, the "Pie to the Rescue" campaign is down to its final 33 pies. Join Capital Christian Center in supporting families in need this holiday season as dozens of Northern Nevada’s best chefs, from local restaurants, donate their time and talent to bake fabulous Thanksgiving pies for the 3rd Annual Pie to the Rescue.
Choose from three delicious pies, pumpkin, pecan or apple, place your order and then pick up your pies, on Wednesday, Nov. 27, in time for Thanksgiving.
This year, proceeds benefit the Carson Valley Community Food Closet, the Bridge Church Family Vision Food Truck, the Ron Wood Community Essentials Food Bank and the Rescue Campaign Outreach Center.
