Kick off your Nevada Day with a healthy start! The Tahoe Mountain Milers running club along with their major partners the Carson Nugget and Ascent Physical Therapy is sponsoring the annual Nevada Day Classic 8K run and 2M run/walk to benefit Special Olympics of Nevada.
Starting promptly at 8:00 am on October 26, 2013, participants start and finish in historic downtown Carson City. After winding their way around the beautiful west side of Carson City, runners and walkers finish their event along the parade route with thousands of spectators lining the street cheering them in. Costumes are welcome and encouraged.
Participants receive a long-sleeve T-shirt (while supplies last) and a post-event continental breakfast at The Nugget. Then hang around for the parade and the rest of the Nevada Day festivities!
Online registration is available at www.race360.com/15239 until October 24th. Mail-in registrations are available at CV Sports at 911 Topsy Lane and Ascent Physical Therapy at 3246 N. Carson St.
