Bank of the West today announced that Lawrance Evans has joined Bank of the West as a vice president and branch manager in Carson City.
In this role, Evans is responsible for the overall operations, customer service, performance and profitability of the branch, as well as community outreach activities. He’ll be based at the Bank of the West branch located at 2976 N. Carson Street.
Evans has more than 25 years of mortgage banking experience and most recently served as a mortgage originator for a lender in Carson City. Among his numerous professional and civic affiliations, Evans is a member of the Northern Nevada Development Authority, and the local real estate board for both residential and commercial properties. He recently served on the Builders Association of Western Nevada’s board as an associate member.
Evans has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Utah State University, in Logan, Utah. He currently resides in Carson City, where he has lived and worked since 1986.
