A Carson Now reader submitted these photos of the fire burning this afternoon at Silver City off of Pedlar Road.
Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center in Minden reports the fire as having burned 300 acres with structures threatened. Smoke can be seen in Carson City, Dayton and Virginia City.
