A man was detained and questioned briefly Thursday morning in Carson City after witnesses said he was acting suspicious, asking questions about the third floor of the Bank of America Building, which is the mailing office of Sen. Harry Reid.
Carson City sheriff's officers were alerted to the man at around at around 10:20 a.m. Detectives on the scene said bank personnel said the man had been roaming the building and went to the second floor, asking questions about signage on the door and the third floor.
Employees became concerned because no one usually goes to the different floors other than the main lobby of the 600 East William Street address.
Detective Ken Sandage said the man had been doing banking in the lobby earlier and began to roam around the different areas of the multi-level building.
