An earthquake with the magnitude of 2.8 hit the Carson City area again Thursday morning. The quake was recorded at 8:06 a.m. and centered 4.7 miles southeast of Carson City. It was followed by a 1.3 magnitude at 8:09 a.m.
The area has been seismically active lately with several 1 and 2 magnitudes recorded this month. Go here for the latest from the Nevada Seismological Lab.
Two people called Carson City Sheriff's Office dispatch Thursday morning asking if there was a quake. Otherwise no damages or injuries were reported.
There was a 2.8 magnitude recorded early Sunday morning and a 2.9 on June 5.
