Raley's, Bel-Air and Nob Hill stores are offering discounted tickets to the 24th annual American Century Championship, the celebrity and sports star golf tournament at Lake Tahoe, July 16-21.
The tournament at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course at Lake Tahoe's south shore, features match-ups of sports legends and Hollywood stars such as Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Aaron Rodgers, Jerry Rice and Ray Romano. Newcomers this year will include former MLB superstars Chipper Jones and Pudge Rodriguez; Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall.
Discounted tickets will be available June 1 through July 21 at 127 locations throughout Northern California and Nevada. Daily tickets for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, July 16, 17 and 18, are $12 (regularly $15); Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 19, 20 and 21, are $22 (regularly $25) or $18 with a grocery purchase of $50 or more, up to four tickets. Tickets are also available online at TahoeSouth.com, TahoeCelebrityGolf.com, and at the gate. Prices are $15 each day for the Lake Tahoe Celebrity-Amateur on Tuesday, July 16, the practice round on Wednesday, July 17, and for the American Century Celebrity-Amateur on Thursday, July 18; and $25 for each tournament round, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
A Patron Badge Season Pass, good for all six days, is also available through May 31 for $50. After June 1, it’s $60. Kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult.
Through its exposure the past 23 years on NBC Sports, the American Century Championship has become the longest running celebrity golf tournament and attracts more than 40,000 plus spectators.
