A 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Monday, May 20, 1:31 p.m. at the intersection of Division and Spear streets after hitting a parked car while allegedly under the influence of drugs.
Officers report the woman slurred her speech and had trouble balancing when they interviewed her about the accident. According to the arrest report, the woman told officers she was diabetic. Fire personnel on scene reported her blood sugar was slightly elevated but not to where it would cause a problem, the report states.
The woman was asked to perform field sobriety tests in which she told officers she couldn't do them because she was feeling dizzy. She then admitted to using heroin in the last three days and told officer she was taking several prescription drugs, some that could have made her drowsy, the arrest report states.
The woman informed officers that she was on Alternative Sentencing and would test positive for heroin.
She faces misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of drugs and being in violation of terms set in her probation. Bail: $4,132.

— A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Tuesday, May 21, 12:49 a.m. at the intersection of Mesquite and East Robinson. He faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear in court. The man was stopped for a rear light that wasn't working. Bail: $1,000.
— A 26-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 5:38 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, in the 5600 block of South Carson Street. She faces warrant charges of failure to appear in court. The woman had refused to leave a casino property when asked and the authorities were called. Bail: $1,000.
— A 26-year-old woman turned herself into the Carson City Sheriff's Office on Monday, May 20, at 9:06 a.m. She had a warrant for her arrest for domestic battery. Bail: $3,000.
— A Carson City man, age not provided, was arrested Monday, May 20, 2:05 p.m. in the 500 block of North Carson Street. He was found to have a Jan. 13, 2013 warrant for his arrest for domestic battery. Bail: $3,413.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
