WE of the World, a business and professional organization for women, will feature Carol Paz, hostess of the TV program Women to Women Nevada, at its monthly meeting on Thursday, March 14. The luncheon will be at Sassafras Cafe in Carson City, from 11:30 to 1 p.m.

The WE Carson City group is made up of an empowering group of women who support and encourage each other with personal and professional growth. The organization encourages and educates women in their pursuit to build and excel in their entrepreneurial endeavors for personal, professional and community enrichment.
WE is a group that invites anyone who is interested in both business contacts and camaraderie. Sassafras is located at 318 N Carson St in Carson City. The public is invited. The cost for the luncheon is $15 for WE members and $20 for guests.

Be sure to catch Thursday's Women to Women on Charter Media on Thursday at 7 p.m when Carol Paz will interview Margie Quirk, a Carson City wild horse advocate and owner of Lone Mountain Veterinary Hospital.

The program airs on Charter Cable Channel 3 (Reno, Sparks, Fernley, Fallon, Lake Tahoe) and 15 (in Carson City, Gardnerville, Dayton).  The locally produced and privately owned program features Northern Nevada women who are making a difference in their communities and in the region. The episode will also be available at Carson Now on Friday morning.

The interview style of Women to Women allows for an open discussion on the personal and professional challenges that each guest has been faced with and how she has worked through such struggles. The goal of the program is to offer women hope, support and encouragement as they face their own difficulties.

Guests range in ages as well as circumstances and come from different cultures, religions, traditions, educational levels and professional achievements. The common thread is that they are willing to share their lives with others in the hope that what they have found and learned can be of benefit to others.

Paz, of Carson City is herself a product of deep changes and growth. Skillfully directing the unscripted discussion, she not only intends to bring out the best in her guests, but to offer insights from her own life. It is evident that Carol respects a genuine conversation that brings help to others.

Viewer participation is encouraged by sending comments to be read on the program if selected.  Please mail thoughts to Women to Women, PO Box 4675, Carson City, NV 89702 or send to WomenofNevada@gmail.com. You can also follow Carol on the Women to Women Nevada Facebook page by going here and hitting the "like" button.
