Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's patrol officers were called Wednesday afternoon to an accident involving at least two vehicles at Carson and Colorado streets.
At least three were reported to have been injured in the accident, which happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. Two CareFlight air ambulances were ordered to pick up patients on Carson Street.
Traffic along Carson Street was being re-routed to allow for emergency vehicles to get through. At least one of the those injured was a 19-year-old, in which an air bag deployed.
Ambulances have also been ordered to the scene.
