After a successful run in Reno at the Sierra Arts Foundation Gallery, the Nevada Expressions II Art Show and Sale will come to Carson City. The opening is on Friday, April 26, 10 am – 8 pm, at the Great Basin Art Gallery at 110 South Curry Street and the show will run through Sunday.
The public is invited to the artists’ reception, Friday 4 – 8 pm. Stop by to meet and see the work of 25 of Nevada’s leading contemporary artists. The work is primarily paintings with some jewelry, ceramics, sculpture and mixed media.
The show is sponsored by Comstock Residents Association, a non profit organization dedicated to preservation of Nevada’s historic landmark and the quality of life in the historic cities of Virginia City, Gold Hill, Silver City and Dayton. These artists support this cause and are donating 50% of the revenues.
