Carson City has been reimagining itself for decades. The 70’s brought a concerted effort by city leaders to bring in new jobs by establishing the Carson City Industrial Airpark to attract clean, high-quality manufacturers to the airport area by offering low cost 99-year leases. The forethought paid off and, today, we have a robust manufacturing community providing many jobs.
