Looking for summer activities for Carson City youth? Western Nevada College has added a College for Kids camp during the last two weeks of July.
Two weeklong sessions are available. Choose one class for one week at $56 per class; choose two morning or afternoon classes for one week for $90, or choose both daily sessions for $120 per week.
July 14 – 18, 2014:
Astronomy for Kids through Arts, Crafts & Nature - 10:15 am – 12:15 pm
Math for Astronomy 1 pm – 3 pm
Nutrition for Kids with 30 minutes of Yoga - 3:15 to 5 pm
July 121– 25, 2014:
Archaeology: Digs for Kids - 8 am – 10 am
Astronomy for Kids, through Arts/Crafts & Nature - 10:15 am – 12:15 pm;
Math for Astronomy - 1 pm – 3 pm;
Creatures and Cultures of Star Trek and Star Wars.
Babysitting Certification is a one day class to be offered Wednesday, July 16, 9 am to 3:30 pm. Cost: $72
