Several Carson City and Douglas County area establishments were recognized this month by Nevada Business Magazine in its fourth annual Family Business Awards.
"This year’s group of finalists are all hard-working families that made a home in the Silver State," according to the website. "They are raising their families here and some have been here for generations. They believe that Nevada’s future is bright and are determined to be a part of that future."
Carson City area 2014 winners include Comma Coffee, Adele's Restaurant and Lounge, Nature's Bakery, Vineburg Machining, Inc., Critical Tattoo, Little Smudgeez, ABC Heating and Sheet Metal, and Nevada Insurance Agency Company.
