UPDATE: Family, friends and colleagues have confirmed that the man who was found dead Wednesday night on a trail along Silver Saddle Road in Carson City is Bob Huston. He was a father, friend and accountant with Bullis and Company CPAs.

A man was found dead Wednesday night by a hiker near a trail along Silver Saddle Ranch Road in Carson City. According to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong, the cause of death is unknown.
Detectives at the scene report there was no apparent trauma to the body. It was discovered by a female hiker who called dispatch to report it at 7:25 p.m.
A dog was with the man at the time of the discovery. Carson City Animal Services was called to remove the dog, which would not leave the body, according to officers at the scene.
A coroner was called and the death is being investigated.
