Here is the Carson City road report for the week of April 8-14: With ongoing construction of the Carson City Freeway project, Snyder Avenue remains closed between E. Roland Street and Center Drive.
Center Drive and Silver Sage Drive are also closed south of Appion Way. Bennett Avenue is closed between Center Drive and Bigelow Drive. Detours will be marked.
Utility work will begin next week on the following roads.
— Carson Street between Second Street and Musser Street.
— Musser Street between Carson Street and Curry Street (temporary road closure possible).
— Curry Street between Musser Street and Caroline Street.
There will be flagger controlled traffic with minor delays expected.
On Monday, April 8, and Tuesday, April 9, Little Lane will be closed between Parkland Avenue and Janas Way due to maintenance. Detours will be marked.
The following activity is expected due to utility work:
— Work near the intersection of Goni Road and Fermi Road and on Fulton Court. Minor delays are expected.
— Work along the entire length of Glenbrook Circle. Minor delays are possible.
— Work along the south side of Highway 50 East near the intersection with Lompa Lane. No delays are expected.
