Carson City firefighters and Care Flight responded late Saturday night to the Prison Hill area southeast of Carson City after a 29-year-old man reportedly fell 30 feet.
The man was reported to have a head injury, was bleeding from a laceration, was conscious and awake but not alert. Several vehicles were said to be "rock crawling" the area at the time of the accident. He was reported to be about 300 yards off the road. Dispatch was alerted to the situation at around 11:20 p.m.
He was flown to Renown Medical Center in Reno.
