Please come to the Carson City Democratic Women’s annual springtime event; A History Tea celebrating the 150 years since Nevada became a state. This is a State Sesquicentennial NV 150 Commission Certified Event and will be held March 15, 2014, from noon to 3 PM. at the Governor’s Mansion Annex 606 Mountain Street. You are invited to sit at one of two “Era Tables” and participate by telling us about significant events of that time. The Eras are:
1864 to 1900
1940’s and 1950’s
1960 to 1979
1980 to 1999
2000 to the Present
Doors open at 11 AM. We suggest you arrive early to meet your table mates, especially if you are doing an “ERA”. Or you may sit at any table and join in the fun.
