Care Flight was called and Carson City Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Musser and Stewart streets late Friday afternoon.
The accident, reported at 4:50 p.m. was said to be a t-bone between the two vehicles with air bag deployment and serious injuries to at least one person, according to Carson City dispatch. The accident caused a back-up of traffic along Stewart Street shortly before 5 p.m.
Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies re-routed traffic around the accident scene.
An ambulance took one victim to a landing area near the Boys and Girls Club where Care Flight landed and took them to Renown Medical Center in Reno.
