Carson City Ward 2 Supervisor Brad Bonkowski will hold three informational meetings in March. The first, his monthly “Breakfast with Brad,” takes place Friday, March 7, at 7:30 am at the Cracker Box restaurant. All Carson City residents are invited to attend and ask questions or provide input about Carson City issues.
The morning gatherings take place on the first Friday of every month. The Cracker Box is located at 402 E. William Street in Carson City. Bonkowski will buy coffee for anyone who stops by; no one needs to purchase any food to take part.
Also on Friday, March 7, Bonkowski will host an evening “Beers with Brad” event at 5 pm in the Queen’s Room at the Firkin & Fox. Brad will buy a beer or soft drink for anyone who comes in to discuss current city issues. The Firkin & Fox is located at 310 S. Carson Street in Carson City.
On Wednesday, March 12, Supervisor Bonkowski will hold an informational meeting regarding the Empire Ranch Golf Course.
The meeting will take place in the Empire Ranch Golf Course clubhouse at 6 pm. Bonkowski hopes to answer questions residents may have about the future of the course. “There is a lot of misinformation about the course being circulated” he said, adding “I want to help residents understand what actions the city is considering and why”.
