In this video recording, staff will first present the history of contractual obligation between the golf course and the City.
Staff will proceed to discuss other alternatives how the City may discharge the waste water from our sewer treatment plant, followed by how the City could possibly purchase the property.
Briefly informing the Board that funding might be able to be re-allocated from the sewer bonds that have been recently approved, as this falls within the parameters of the sewer treatment plant discharge of waste water.
However, before any attempt can be made to purchase the golf course, it was suggested the Board would need an appraisal, and then approved the expense of having one performed.
Presently the Board is waiting for this appraisal.
