The Brewery Arts Center (BAC) is committed to presenting and promoting art, arts programming and cultural events for all ages through its facilities and resources to the community of Carson City and the surrounding area. Its vision is to nurture and advance the creation and presentation of the arts.

The BAC seeks to promote a sense of community through the arts through its various partnerships and collaborations. One of the programs that the Winter Wine and All That Jazz fundraiser will directly benefit is Diving into the Arts, a partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada.

This unique arts academy provides participants from the Boys and Girls Club free classes in performing and visual arts, as well as filmmaking and digital arts. At the end of each session, the participants are able to perform and present their art to the community.

“It will be the social event of the season,” says BAC Board President Chris Bayer. “Wine tasting, jazz bands, dancing, hors d' oeuvres, and a silent auction, all for a great cause.”

In addition to providing innovative arts programming for everyone, regardless of ability to pay, the BAC is home to a gallery, an Artisan store where local artists can present and promote their work, Access Carson City, the local cable access channel, Wild Horse Children’s Theater, and Proscenium Players, Nevada's 2nd Oldest Continuously-Operating Theater Company, since 1965.
