The Outdoor Toy Store in Moundhouse held its first Community Christmas Festival. We wanted to thank all those who helped make it such a success.
The money from the raffle items went to The Ron Woods Family Center and the cans of food that were donated are going to The Dayton Food Pantry. Next year we have promises from other local businesses to help out and spread much needed donations and Christmas cheer to an area that is largely forgotten.
We had pics with Santa that children got to take home that night. Pony cart rides with mini appaloosa's, and goats to pet. We set up burn barrels for marshmallow roasting and played Charlie Browns Christmas and other "classics".
Thank you "carolers" we had no practice together, but everyone joined in last minute to make it happen. Hayrides for the the younger and older kids and lots of cookies, hot coffee, hot chocolate and apple cider. We wanted to recognize some special people who without their help we could not have done this.

Not to mention all the helpers. There just isn't enough room to thank them all. Of special mention Brienna and Seliah Colston who took and printed the pictures for the Pics with Santa. Santa (Brian Olson), Brant Colston for thinking of it and all his elves who helped put it together.
Tiny Toons for bringing their petting zoo out (you made it so special!), thank you! We hope to get word out sooner this up coming year and have more time to put it together. If I have forgotten anyone, please forgive me, you were so appreciated! We hope to see you this December for the 2nd Annual Community Festival!
