You can curse the darkness, or light a candle.
You can complain about politics and politicians, or you can participate in defining the
issues and getting them enacted; selecting your candidates and getting them elected.
The key word is PARTICIPATE.
The Carson City Republican Central Committee gives you several opportunities to
participate in whatever way you like. Just remember that nothing gets done unless
people get down to doing it.
Stop cursing the darkness. Light a candle. In these strange times it is not an
exaggeration to say we must light many candles to keep the flame of freedom from
being extinguished. Fight to preserve the freedom you inherited, fight for the freedom
you want to pass on to your kids.
Remember Reagan's words.
"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass
it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for
them to do the same."
You may wonder why we must fight for freedom. Well, it takes no effort to fall into
apathy and let others make your choices for you. All you have to do is ... nothing.
