Capital Christian Center will host a city-wide Easter Egg Hunt at Carson High School Saturday, March 30, beginning at 10 a.m.. There will be more than 12,000 eggs for the hunt, a holiday ham give away and pictures with the Easter bunny.
They will also be using the time to “beautify” the CHS campus as with 150-plus volunteers to pull weeds, rake, sweep, etc.
Also on Saturday at Centennial Park is the 36th Carson City Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt. The free event begins at 11:30 a.m., with a hunt designed for children with special needs, followed by a hunt at noon with more than 12,000 eggs and hundreds of prizes in the colorful mix. Special appearance by the Easter Bunny for photos. Centennial Park is at 5400 Heritage Way, north of Eagle Valley Golf Course.
