UPDATE: The Moneytree located in a shopping center on East William Street near the Carson City I80 freeway was evacuated as were nearby businesses and the Subway restaurant after a bomb threat was made Friday afternoon. The shopping center is now open.
According to Carson City Sheriff's Office Sgt. Mike Cullen, the Money Tree store was searched and cleared of any explosive device. Detectives are following up with additional searches and taking photographs of the building.
The phone threat was made to a Moneytree staffer at the branch located at 2073 East William. at around 1:20 p.m. The male caller said a bomb would go off in 20 minutes and said that the business had "ruined" their Christmas, said Sgt. Cullen.

A bomb threat was called into a business in the 2000 block of East William Street in Carson City, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office.
An anonymous phone caller said they would blow the place up in 20 minutes, and said to get out of the building and that the business ruined their Christmas. The call was made at 1:21 p.m.
Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies are scouring the area and are evacuating the areas surrounding the business.
