Douglas authorities look for man who stole TV from Gardnerville Walmart

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who walked into the Walmart at 1511 Grant Avenue in Gardnerville on Dec. 13 and walked out with a 50-inch television set.

The man is described as six feet to six-feet-six inches tall, approximately 200 pounds, wearing a blue and white plaid short sleeve shirt, dark colored jeans and tennis shoes with green shoe laces, said Sgt. Pat Brooks.

The suspect entered the Walmart at 1511 Grant Avenue at around 9;23 a.m., walked directly to the electronics area and picked up a 50-inch Samsung television from the display and walked out the store, carrying he TV to a red two door sedan and left the parking lot, said Brooks.
