Leading into 2014, business owners have a lot on their minds. Unfortunately, too much of that may be negatively focused. What Works Coaching hopes to refocus business owners and point them in the direction of a profitable year with Mindset 2014: Set the Fire.

This hands-on educational program will teach business owners how to identify negative triggers, create achievable goals, develop concrete action plans, and utilize mindset techniques to visualize success. The four-week program, begins Friday, January 3 and wraps up Friday, Jan. 24 and will be held live, once a week, at the Goddess’ Shoppe in Carson City from 6:30 pm until 8:30 p.m. What Works Coaching is taking applications for scholarship into this program, which will fully cover the cost of tuition.

“Every business owner, big or small, can harness the power of positive thinking to increase their profits in 2014,” says What Works Coaching’s Chief Inspiration Officer, Diane Dye Hansen. “I created this scholarship to serve Nevada business owners. Some businesses are in such dire need of this program that they can’t afford the class tuition. We hope to help them turn their year around.”

Applications for the Mindset 2014 Scholarship can be submitted online here by filling out the brief application.

To qualify for the scholarship, the business must be currently in existence, be located in Nevada within 100 miles of Carson City and exhibit a clear need for business help. To defray travel expenses, online sessions with separate scholarships are also being offered. In total, one scholarship will be awarded for the live program and four scholarships will be awarded for the online program.

Tuition for Mindset 2014: Set the Fire is $200. Payments are accepted through Bill Me Later. The live program in Carson City is limited to 20 participants, although additional dates may be set to meet the needs of the community. Businesses who do not require scholarship assistance may register here. The live event will be held at The Goddess’ Shoppe, 112 East John Street in Carson City. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Esperanza Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to healing those with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) with specialized programs for Veterans and Domestic Violence.
