Carson City Library will present National Geographic’s documentary film “Pearl Harbor: Legacy of Attack” on Saturday, Dec. 7, the 72nd anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The film will be shown at the BRIC, 109 E. Proctor Street in downtown Carson City. The film will begin at 11:00 a.m. (just before the Wine Walk).
Amazon’s editorial review states this film is “a contemporary look at the surprise raid that propelled America’s entry into WWII.” It is narrated by Tom Brokaw and includes never-before-seen images from inside the sunken USS Arizona and an undersea expedition by famed Titanic explorer Dr. Robert Ballard. Pearl Harbor survivors share their touching and painful stories and renowned historian Stephen Ambrose adds to the historical perspective.
