UPDATE: 10:15AM: A fire Saturday morning at a Levi Gulch home has been extinguished, according to Carson City Fire Chief Stacey Giomi. No injuries were reported. The owners were home at the time of the fire.

About 40 percent of the home was damaged. The size of the home is estimated to be between 3,000 to 3,500-square foot. Another 20 to 30 percent of the home received smoke damage.

Early cost estimates of damage would be between $150,000 to $200,000, said Giomi.

The fire, reported to dispatch at 8:39 a.m. is believed to have started in the roof near the center of the home and then spread, said Giomi. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
