Carson City firefighters were called shortly before 6:30 p.m. Thursday to a structure fire in an attic in the 1400 block of Sonoma Street.
Firefighters on scene report smoke coming from the attic of the home. Carson City Sheriff's Office patrol deputies were directing traffic. Three Carson City fire engines were deployed, one with a spotlight.
It is unknown at this time if anyone was inside or if any injuries were reported.
