At least four vehicles were involved in hit and run crashes late Monday morning off of Retail Drive and College Parkway in Carson City. The suspect, driving a silver pickup, was detained.
Ambulances was called to two of the crashes, one of which was off of College Parkway and Emerson. The other crashes happened near College Parkway and Market streets. The incident was reported shortly before 11 a.m. Four vehicles, including the suspect's vehicle, were involved.
It is unknown at this time what caused the driver of the pickup to hit the other vehicles and leave the scene. An ambulance was called for him as well. A deputy arriving at the scene said via dispatch that the driver may have had a medical issue.
Traffic was being re-routed in the area.
