An 18-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday in the 1800 block of Armstrong Lane and faces a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery following a dispute with her mother.
According to the arrest report, officers were called to the address at around 7:11 p.m. in response to a domestic battery reported between a mother and daughter.
Officers spoke with the victim who stated she and her daughter go into an argument over an unpaid ticket. The victim stated her daughter became extremely angry, pushed her to the floor, climbed on top of her and then bit her on the right cheek.
The victim had a small abrasion on her right cheek. The daughter didn't have any signs of physical injuries. Bail: $3,137.

— A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5:42 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the area of East Hampton Drive for being in violation of a temporary protection order. Bail: $3,132.
— A 33-year-old Carson City woman was booked into jail on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. on a contempt of court warrant for failure to appear in Carson City Justice and Municipal court on a traffic hearing. Bail: $949.
— A 27-year-old Carson City woman turned herself into Carson City authorities on Sept. 9, 11:24 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant for her arrest out of justice court. Bail: $500.
— A 41-year-old transient was arrested in the 2000 block of North Carson Street on Sept. 9, 7:23 p.m. after a bike was reported stolen on Bath Street. Bail: $352.
Those facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
