Carson City Sheriff's Deputy Jason Bueno was at a residence investigating a domestic violence dispute at around 5:30 p.m. Monday when he saw the suspect drive by in the Denali.

Bueno atttempted to follow the man, and at one point lost him but noticed that the suspect vehicle had turned at the corner of Baker, striking a moving vehicle and a parked Ford F250 truck, taking out part of the fence and a wheel rolling down into a yard. Bueno saw the man take off running and apprehended him about 100 yards away from where the Denali crashed into the passenger side of the Ford.

The suspect and an officer were flown to Renown after being transported to a site near the DMV office. The man faces a felony eluding charge, domestic battery, driving without insurance, driving without a valid driver's license, and two misdemeanor warrants. More charges me be coming, said Mays.

Terry Aufdenkamp who owns the damaged F250 and the home where the fence was taken out by the suspect said her was sleeping on the couch when he heard two "booms" and immediately figured his truck, parked in the street, had been hit. He walked outside and saw his truck, the Denali crashed into it and a car totaled by the GMC Denali. He said he saw the suspect take off running with a police officer chasing and catching him.

"I'm glad I wasn't in my truck when it happened," said Aufdenkamp. "The truck is built really strong, that's why I bought it but look at the damage he did to the front end. Just look at it."
