Give some blood, get a free movie ticket. That's just one of the incentives to draw Carson City residents to the Carson City Courthouse parking lot on Wednesday for a blood drive. The other incentive is that giving blood saves lives.
The United Blood Services drive inside the Blood Mobile runs from 8 a.m. to noon at the Carson City courthouse parking lot, 885 East Musser Street next to the sheriff's office. The drive is being hosted by the Carson City Sheriff's Office. To schedule an appointment call Marie at (775) 283-7895. All donors will receive one free movie ticket at Galaxy Fandango.
