Carson City residents interested in naming two open space acquisitions are invited by the Open Space Program to submit a written proposal.
The two properties are located on Golden Eagle Lane in the southeast area of Carson City, near the southeast corner of the Prison Hill Recreation Area, according to a news release.

The application must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Sept. 20, 2013. Mail or deliver the application to the Carson City Parks and Recreation Department, Open Space Division, 3303 Butti Way Building 9, Carson City, Nevada 89701.
All proposals will be presented for action to the Carson City Open Space Advisory Committee at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. in the Community Center, Sierra Room. All citizens who submit proposals are encouraged to attend and support their interests at this public meeting. A final recommendation to name the open space properties will ultimately go to the Carson City Board of Supervisors for final approval and adoption.
