The Interfaith Community of Carson City hosts its fourth annual interfaith potluck picnic and food drive on the lawn of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. All community members are invited to attend.
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and Unity of the Sierra are co-hosting the fourth annual interfaith picnic at the corner of Division and Telegraph, Carson City on Monday, Sept. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m.
In addition to inspiring music and fun community building activities, the Interfaith Council of Carson City encourages community members to donate nonperishable food items and personal care items to benefit Carson City’s Friends in Service Helping (F.I.S.H.) food bank program. The Boy Scouts of America will be on hand to accept food donations.

Attendees are asked to be generous with nonperishable food and personal care items for donation to F.I.S.H. In addition, attendees should bring a main dish, salad, side dish, or dessert to share in the potluck. In honor of Mother Earth, please bring your own set of plates and eating utensils. The interfaith council will provide chilled bottled water.
