Street Vibrations is in its 19th year and growing strong, Randy Burke of Roadshows, the Street Vibrations guru, is always looking to expand his empire of fun and memorable events Well, this year he has partnered with the family owned and opporated Horseshoe Club Casino.
According to the Carson Horseshoe Club "there will be food, music, bike games, kids bicycle games, the fabulous Carson Victory Roller Girls, vendors, surprises and fun for all. Street Vibrations started here in Carson City in the back lot of the Carson Nugget and we are bringing it back Downtown with the help of amazing sponsors and supporters.
"We have a special charity that we are wanting to help called Food for thought and the Healthy Harvest Hub. They are working to provide hungry and food insecure children and families with healthy, organic food, while also providing the general public with regular access to locally produced foods and services.
"They are working with partners through out our community to accomplish their noble goals and the HorseShoe Club is proud to help."
The Bike games are being hosted by Motor Officer Mike Cullen and the Carson City Sheriffs office and their Slow ride Champion team. They are looking forward to a little throw down with the locals who participate.
So this year during Street Vibrations, while you are roustabouting in Reno, wine tasting in Tahoe, visiting Virginia City, now you can cruise the Capital in downtown Carson City and see for yourself why the Capital city is so much fun.
