A big fish caught by John W. Bond of Gardnerville, NV., pictured with his son Alex. John caught this 28-pound, 9-ounce (39" at the fork of the tail) Mackinaw trout at Donner Lake on Aug. 5th, at about 9:15 a.m. To date, only a handful of Macks have been caught that have weighed 30 pounds or more.
